Dictum WITH GOD'S APPROVAL? A theological exploration of
Book SynopsisIs it theologically possible to hold that God's blessing can rest upon sexually-active same-sex relationships and same-sex marriages? Is it therefore legitimate for the Church of England to bless them? This study carefully examines the papers on blessing by Walter Moberly and Isabelle Hamley, produced for the Church of England's General Synod in July 2023, then explores the pattern for God's blessing, as found in Scripture. The principles are more widely applicable. Martin Davie concludes that if such prayers of blessing were to be authorised, it would mean deciding that God's rejection of same-sex unions no longer applies.Table of ContentsWITH GOD'S APPROVAL? A theological exploration of blessing same-sex couples, in dialogue with Walter Moberly and Isabelle Hamley Part I: An introduction to the papers by Walter Moberly and Isabelle Hamley Part II: A critical examination of the papers by Moberly and Hamley Part III: A biblical theology of blessing, and why it rules out the blessing of same-sex relationships Conclusion In summary

Warren a Henderson May We See Christ? - An Old Testament Journey
Book SynopsisAt this particular moment, each of us is as close to the Lord Jesus Christ as we desire to be. The Lord is a perfect Gentleman; He does not force Himself on anyone. Our patient Savior is always ready to extend knowledge, grace, wisdom, mercy, and forgiveness to those genuinely seeking Him. Through His Word and by His Spirit, God aids a true seeker to have a deeper knowledge of Himself and His purposes. God the Father loves His Son and desires us to know, appreciate, and love Him too. Besides the plain language of Scripture, God has employed a variety of types, symbols, and allegories in a complementary fashion to teach us about His Son. With the light of New Testament truth and the illuminating assistance of the Holy Spirit, we are able to understand and appreciate these fascinating Old Testament pictures. All of God’s written Word speaks of Christ to some degree as He is the main emphasis of Scripture. Accordingly, the best reason to embark on this one-year journey is to more clearly see, know, and love Christ. May the Lord richly bless your daily contemplations of the Savior as you expectantly peer into God’s oracles and witness the glory of His Son. — Warren Henderson

Book SynopsisThis book shows all of us, no matter our circumstances or how dark our days may seem, that God is brighter still. Let God start to transform your life. We will be booking media appearances for this Author as well as book signing events in the Author hometown as well as additional cities and states. John Early worked in the corporate world for over 25 years. From the outside looking in, it seemed as though he had it all: the beautiful family, the magnificent home, the nice cars and great vacations, the fabulous income with the big 401K. He had what most would consider the American Dream. This was Johns idea of a dream, and this dream was all about him. Then suddenly, in an instant, like the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, John had an encounter with God that transformed his life forever. John takes the reader through that transformation and the total impact it had on not only his life, but on the lives of those around him, especially those closest to himhis wife and children. He lays out the 10 key bits of wisdom that were instrumental in reconciling and rebuilding those broken relationships. His road on this journey is paved with: Knowing your purpose, Character, Attitude, Goals, Teamwork and Trust, Respect, Courage, Regrets, Reconciliation, and Grace. This book shows all of us, no matter our circumstances or how dark our days may seem, that God is brighter still. Let God start to transform your life.

1517 Publishing Your God is Too Glorious: Finding God in the Most
Book SynopsisMost of us are regular people who have good days and bad days. Our lives are radically ordinary and unexciting. That means they're the kind of lives God gets excited about. While the world worships beauty and power and wealth, God hides his glory in the simple, the mundane, the foolish, working in unawesome people, things, and places. In our day of celebrity worship and online posturing, this is a refreshing, even transformative way of understanding God and our place in his creation. It urges us to treasure a life of simplicity, to love those whom the world passes by, to work for God's glory rather than our own. And it demonstrates that God has always been the Lord of the cross--a Savior who hides his grace in unattractive, inglorious places.Your God Is Too Glorious reminds readers that while a quiet life may look unimpressive to the world, it's the regular, everyday people that God tends to use to do his most important work.

Carpenter's Son Publishing I’m Not That Woman Anymore: A Journey to Healing
Book SynopsisFreedom for His Daughters I’m Not That Woman Anymore: A Journey to Healing from Abuse Leader Guide provides guidance for women leaders embracing the opportunity to minister hope and healing through the love of God. So many of God’s daughters who have been or still are in an abusive relationship are suffering. The enemy would see us remain prisoners of hurt and shame, but we are all called to more. This study offers the truths needed to lead others from darkness into the light as they seek a life free from the bondage of abuse. In this Bible study, we team up with scripture to bring biblical truth to these issues of the heart: What lies of the enemy have I believed about who I am? What truths are found in the Word of God about abuse? How can Jesus possibly understand my abuse? How do I avoid another abusive relationship? Is forgiveness a part of healing? This isn’t an easy journey. but it will be worth it. To walk alongside those who have suffered is to walk alongside Christ.

Book SynopsisWhat happens when life doesn't turn out the way we plan? What if life's disappointments are more than we can handle? Shattered Dreams to Treasured Truths answers these questions and more. Donna Nabors shares her shattered dreams as a young minister's wife in a marriage engulfed by sexual addiction, lies, emotional and physical abuse. She shares how her disappointments were transformed with her spiritual jewelry box. Expanding on this analogy, gemstones are used to represent five key items each woman needs including diamonds of faith, sapphires of strength, rubies of love, amethysts of peace, and emeralds of hope.Experiences alone provide nothing but interesting reading without application to the individual. Donna provides that application by encouraging the reader to fill their heart with treasured truths from God's Word making them second nature in everyday life.
