Book SynopsisL'Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par voies de navigation intérieures (ADN) fait à Genève le 26 mai 2000 sous l'égide de la Commission économique des Nations Unies pour l'Europe (CEE-ONU) et de la Commission centrale pour la navigation du Rhin (CCNR) est entré en vigueur le 29 février 2008. Le Règlement annexé à l'ADN contient des dispositions relatives aux matières et objets dangereux, à leur transport en colis ou en vrac à bord de bateaux de navigation intérieure ou de bateaux-citernes, ainsi que des dispositions relatives à la construction et à l'exploitation de tels bateaux. Il régit également les prescriptions et procédures relatives aux visites, à l'établissement de certificats d'agrément, à l'agrément des sociétés de classification, aux dérogations, aux contrôles, à la formation et à l'examen des experts.

Por tanto, el Manual complementa los reglamentos nacionales e internacionales desarrollados a partir de la Reglamentación Modelo o del SGA. Desde su primera versión, elaborada y posteriormente adoptada por el Comité de Expertos en Transporte de Mercancías Peligrosas del Consejo Económico y Social de las Naciones Unidas (ECOSOC) en 1984, el Manual se ha ido modificando y actualizando cada dos años. Dicha actualización se lleva a cabo bajo los auspicios del Comité de Expertos en Transporte de Mercancías Peligrosas y del Sistema Globalmente Armonizado de clasificación y etiquetado de productos químicos, que reemplaza al comité original desde el año 2001. La sexta edición revisada, que se publicó en 2015, tiene en cuenta las recomendaciones adoptadas por el comité de expertos en su quinto y sexto período de sesiones que se celebraron en 2010 y 2012 (publicadas con el símbolo ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.5/Amend.2 y ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.4/Amend.2) así como las adoptadas durante su séptimo período de sesiones, que se celebró en 2014 (ST/SG/AC.10/42/Add.2).
