Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Globalisation, Populism, Pandemics and the Law:
Book SynopsisAdvocating a style of law and a role for legal agency which returns to its essential humanist ideology and represents public spiritedness, this unique book confronts the myths surrounding globalisation, advancing the role for law as a change agent unburdened from its current market functionality.Mark Findlay argues that law has a new and urgent relevance to confront the absence of resilience in self-determined market places, and to make coherent the anarchic forces which are running, and ruining the world. The inevitability of law's re-invention during global crises is considered, offering a critical evaluation of the future of legal agency, service delivery and access to justice. Chapters also engage with citizen-centric surveillance society to examine the dangers to personal data, individual integrity, and work-life quality from unregulated mass data sharing.Exciting and thought-provoking, this book will be critical reading for scholars and students in law, economics and governance interested in globalisation and crises, such as pandemics, as well as populist politics and anxiety governance.Table of ContentsContents: Preface – utopian myths and a dystopian present 1. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Handbook of Real Estate and Macroeconomics
Book SynopsisThis Handbook collects a set of academic and accessible chapters to address three questions: What should real estate economists know about macroeconomics? What should macroeconomists know about real estate? What should readers know about the interaction between real estate and macroeconomics? Content is focused on four widely discussed themes: real estate-related wealth and macroeconomics, housing price dynamics and affordability, financial crises and structural change, and non-residential real estate. The chapter authors, active researchers from around the world, present evidence from various countries and datasets that are of interest to audiences across the globe, summarize insights from previous research and shed light on current issues. The Handbook of Real Estate and Macroeconomics assists researchers on the big picture as well as a hot spots in frontier research, and facilitates worldwide policy discussions and analysis for practitioners in financial markets, corporate economists, and policy analysts in governments and NGOs.Trade Review‘Housing is distinct among goods by virtue of its importance in expenditure and welfare, its durability, and its ability to locate and identify its consumer to others (including the government). As a result, the economics of housing is central to many literatures. These include the role of fluctuations in housing construction and prices in business cycles, housing’s impact on financial markets via its role as a store of value and easily collateralized good, and the treatment of housing as a basis for taxation and distribution of government services, especially government produced education. The papers in this Handbook volume span these topics as well as many others. While providing fresh results and insights, the papers also provide a terrific portal to researchers, especially graduate students, considering working in any of these areas.’ -- Mark Bils, University of Rochester, US‘This is an excellent resource for researchers, policymakers, and market practitioners interested in the economics of housing. The Editor, Professor Charles Leung, is a noted figure in the area. He has put together a superb collection of papers covering topics such as the affordability of housing, commercial real estate, and the financial crisis, among other things. The chapters discuss housing in various countries and provide some cross-country comparisons.’ -- Jeremy Greenwood, University of Pennsylvania, US‘An invaluable resource for those interested in one of the hottest areas in economics, the macroeconomics of real estate and household finance.’ -- Robert G. King, Boston University and NBER, US‘The mid-2000s Great Financial Crisis was a reminder to macroeconomists that models which omitted explicit analysis of the economy’s largest tangible asset, an asset that underpins large parts of the financial system, can miss much of what is happening outside the model, in the actual economy. On the flip side, the GFC reminded housing economists of the need to deepen understanding of spillovers from housing to the macroeconomy and financial markets, and other settings such as labor markets and environmental conditions. The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has focused economists of every stripe on epidemiology and public health, but housing markets are also once again brought to the fore, as concerns mount about foreclosures, evictions, and distortions in rents and asset prices directly from the pandemic and less directly from the responses to it.Anyone seeking understanding of previous episodes, or looking for insight into the present, or the next crisis, will profit from repeated consultation with this Handbook. The volume gathers a distinguished group of scholars from around the world, and provides a state-of-the-art review of linkages between housing economics and the aggregate economy and its major constituent markets. Individual chapters provide reviews of the latest modeling tools as well as case studies, in a wide range of international settings, at different levels of income and urbanization. Highly recommended.’ -- Stephen Malpezzi, University of Wisconsin, Madison, US‘This book gathers a great collection of papers on real estate that contains valuable insights for both academics and practitioners.’ -- Sergio Rebelo, Northwestern University, USTable of ContentsContents: Introduction to the Handbook of Real Estate and Macroeconomics x Charles Ka Yui Leung PART I REAL ESTATE-RELATED WEALTH AND MACROECONOMICS 1 Real estate market and consumption: macro and micro evidence of Japan 2 Kazuo Ogawa 2 The Bank of Japan as a real estate tycoon: large-scale REIT purchases 21 Takahiro Hattori and Jiro Yoshida 3 Land and macroeconomics 39 Prasad Sankar Bhattacharya PART II HOUSING PRICE DYNAMICS AND AFFORDABILITY 4 Affordable housing conundrum in India 83 Piyush Tiwari and Jyoti Shukla 5 Residential location and education in the United States 106 Eric A. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Environmental Valuation in Developed Countries:
Book SynopsisThis is the second of two volumes of case studies that illustrate how environmental economists place values on environmental assets and on the flows of goods and services generated by those assets. The first volume, Valuing the Environment in Developing Countries, illustrates methodologies and applications of valuation techniques in the developing world; this volume concentrates on developed or 'wealthy' nations where the first examples of economic valuation of the environment were carried out. This important book assembles studies that discuss broad areas of application of economic valuation - from amenity and pollution through to water and health risks, from forestry to green urban space. In this, his last book, the late David Pearce brought together leading European experts, contributors to some two dozen case studies exploring the frontiers of economic valuation of natural resources and environmental amenity in the developed world. Essays on the role of valuation in environmental policy, environmental justice and green accounts are presented, and case study topics include: valuing forestry benefits GM crops water use and quality externalities in the electricity sector renewable energy benefits electricity transmission line disamenity urban greenspace chemical risks noise pollution. Economic valuation has undoubtedly made an important contribution to the environmental debate, and the contributors illustrate how sophisticated techniques have become, and how powerful their application can be. As such, this significant volume will prove essential reading for academics, researchers, students and practitioners in the field of environmental economics.Trade Review'Environmental Valuation in Developed Countries will be of interest to policy makers and economist in search of a variety of methodologies related to environmental valuation.' -- Political Studies ReviewTable of ContentsContents: David Pearce (1941–2005): A Tribute 1. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd A Yen for Real Estate: Japanese Real Estate
Book SynopsisJapanese overseas investment in real estate has been little analysed, until now, despite its economic scale and political impact. This unique book explores the political economy of Japanese foreign direct investment in real estate in the United States, Australia and other countries from the mid-1980s onwards. In the period between 1985 and 1994, there was a remarkable rise and decline in Japanese real estate investment abroad. The author explains that this experience was important because real estate investment became a focal point of international tension between Japan and other countries. What this book achieves is an understanding of the speed of the advance and the retreat of Japanese real estate FDI. The author also explains its principal causes as well as its impact on host economies and communities. It will be an important new reference source for political economists and international business scholars as well as for scholars of Japanese studies.Trade Review'After reading this book . . . readers will certainly gain a great amount of knowledge on the subject . . . this book certainly makes a significant contribution to our understanding of Japanese foreign investment in real estate in the 1980s and early 1990s. It is an indispensable source of information and insights for diligent students of the subject.' -- Masahiro Igarashi, Transnational Corporations'Farrell deepens our understanding by presenting well-organized empirical research.' -- Mariko Fujii, Journal of Japanese Studies'This is essential reading for understanding the phenomenon of the "bubble economy". Roger Farrell reveals all about the motivations, strategies and trends in Japanese real estate investment during the investment boom of the late 1980s and early 1990s. He cuts through the hype and gets to the essence of the problem: an absence of strategy and control, and lack of experience on the part of the investors, loose regulatory environments and the openness of the key target markets. It is a cautionary tale, well told.' -- Alan Rix, University of Queensland, Australia'Farrell's is the first comprehensive study. . . . It provides a detailed record of what happened and the costs of what happened. It will be invaluable to those in the business and also to those trying to understand Japan's economic policy problems and challenges today.' -- Peter Drysdale, Australian National University, AustraliaTable of ContentsContents: 1. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Pollution, Property and Prices: An Essay in
Book SynopsisIn this classic book, originally published in 1968 by University of Toronto Press, John Dales proposed a new policy instrument for tackling pollution problems, namely 'markets in pollution rights'. Dales was one of the first economists to put forward such a solution, and in subsequent years a system of emissions trading has evolved which is now a centrepiece in international discussions of how to address the problem of global climate change.Policymakers around the world are still exploring ways in which the marketable-rights approach may be used to increase the effectiveness of environmental regulation. From this perspective, readers will find this short and extremely readable book of great interest - as a return to the basic idea in its original form and a lucid justification for its continued use.Trade Review'Dales pointed out that traditional economic and legal solutions to pollution and resource problems were never going to be satisfactory and that a "third way" was needed. Today, all environmental economists of my generation recognise the debt we owe to Dales's work, as one of the intellectual foundations for emissions trading that began in California in the 1970s and now extends across the world. It is a work of immense influence which deserves reprinting.' -- - David Pearce, University College London, UKTable of ContentsContents: Foreword by Wallace E. Oates Preface 1. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Private Property in the 21st Century: The Future
Book SynopsisPrivate property's form is crucial to contemporary debates in land use and environmental policy and management. For some, restrictions on private property are so severe as to threaten the very freedoms property is designed to protect. For others, the realities of life in the 21st century require property's reshaping. The re-emergence of private property as an issue of social conflict within US policy and politics is explored in this comprehensive volume. Private property is central to American character, culture and democracy. The founding fathers understood it as key to the liberties America was designed to foster. However, over the last 200 years what one owns has evolved; ownership is different now than for an owner 200, 100, even 50 years ago. Harvey Jacobs has brought together an interdisciplinary, politically divergent group of contributors to speculate on private property's future. The ownership and control of privately owned lands is critical for many fields. Scholars, students, and professionals of urban and regional planning, geography, law, natural resources, environment, real estate, and landscape architecture will all find this volume of great interest.Table of ContentsContents: Foreword 1. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Redesigning Environmental Valuation: Mixing
Book SynopsisThis comprehensive volume explores the extent to which the challenges facing stated preference environmental valuation can be overcome through mixing methods. In redesigning stated preference, two approaches are considered: mixing methods within conventional stated preference; and then moving away from the conventional to explore the use of group methods within preference construction and forming a social consensus on willingness to pay. These approaches are assessed in the light of qualitative findings evaluating the applicability of environmental valuation. Providing a step-by-step guide to mixing methods within stated preference surveys, this book will appeal to environmental valuation practitioners and students undertaking post-graduate research into environmental valuation. It will also be of interest to students and practitioners involved in environmental science or related environmental fields.Trade Review'In an area where feelings often run high, the author has produced a judicious assessment of the challenges to placing a value on environmental "goods" without a clear market value. Thoughtfully written, Redesigning Environmental Valuation draws on research from multiple disciplines, in creating a rigorous, nuanced approach to ensuring that important consequences are not neglected. In so doing, it shows the way toward integrative social sciences.' -- Baruch Fischhoff, Carnegie Mellon University, US'This excellent book will reinvigorate interest in environmental valuation by economists and other social scientists. Its focus is clear - it highlights the challenges that face valuation researchers and describes new and better ways of estimating values for the environment by drawing on methods that have evolved in other disciplines. A must read for all researchers interested in environmental valuation.' -- Douglas C. MacMillan, University of Kent, UKTable of ContentsContents: 1. Introduction Part I: Methods 2. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Property Rights, Consumption and the Market
Book SynopsisProperty Rights, Consumption and the Market Process extends property rights theory in new and exciting directions by combining complementary insights from Austrian, institutional and evolutionary economics. Mainstream economics tends to analyse property rights within a static equilibrium framework. In this book David Andersson reformulates property rights theory as an evolutionary theory of the market process. This original work includes many valuable insights and new analysis such as: combining Yoram Barzel's theory of property rights, Ludwig Lachmann's theory of capital, the resource-based view of the firm and the entrepreneurship theories of Frank Knight, Joseph Schumpeter and Israel Kirzner applying Ronald Inglehart's theory of value change to discontinuities in how imitative behaviour influences consumer choice a new distributional perspective on the Hayekian knowledge problem a model of consumer choice that combines lexicographic characteristics and learning processes a methodological approach that considers the perceived causal and evidential utilities of a theory original empirical material (hedonic price functions and case studies) and new areas of application for important computer simulation results. David Andersson's book will be warmly welcomed by heterodox economists and new institutional economists, as well as economists of entrepreneurship studies, regional development and urban planning.Trade Review'In this book David Emanuel Andersson undertakes the difficult task of reconciling institutional theories of property rights, transaction costs and norms, with Austrian economics, Lancaster's consumer theory, regional economics and evolutionary economics. The result is a success, the connections outlined make sense and convincing illustrative cases are offered. The book should be read by everyone interested in how the challenges to neoclassical equilibrium theory that have emerged since the 1960s are related.' -- Per-Olof Bjuggren, Jonkoping University, SwedenTable of ContentsContents: Preface 1. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Environmental Valuation in Developed Countries: Case Studies
Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Money Laundering in the Real Estate Sector:
Book SynopsisIn many countries, the real estate sector is vulnerable to money laundering due to a high number of factors including; the high value of assets, price fluctuations and speculation within the market, difficulties in assessing the true value of a house, and the fact that the legal owner is not necessarily the economic owner. In this book, the authors identify a total of 25 characteristics which render a property susceptible to money laundering. The more such characteristics a property exhibits, the more suspicious it becomes. The authors also discover that some of these characteristics weigh heavier than others. Combining economic, econometric and criminological analysis, this multidisciplinary approach shows how to detect criminal investment in the real estate sector. This well-researched book will appeal to government authorities responsible for combating money laundering, international organizations such as the IMF, the UN, the Worldbank and the EU, as well as financial intelligence units in all countries. Real estate associations, real estate research centers, criminologists and economists will also find this book invaluable.Table of ContentsContents: 1. Introduction Part I: Economic Approach 2. Book SynopsisHousing markets are at the centre of the recent global financial turmoil. In this well-researched study, a multidisciplinary group of leading analysts explores the impact of the crisis within, and between, countries. The impacts of the so-called global crisis are, in fact, highly uneven for both households and institutions. This unique book investigates why this is the case as well as emphasizing the consequences. It encompasses the experiences of all the major economies, including: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, the UK, the USA and Vietnam, highlighting and comparing a wide range of housing systems and crisis impacts.Housing Markets and the Global Financial Crisis will strongly appeal to academics and postgraduate students in social policy, urban studies, public policy, economics, sociology and human geography. In addition, anyone with a general interest in globalization, neoliberalism and the changing nature of contemporary capitalist societies, as well as those with particular interests in housing markets and housing policy, will find this book enriching and enlightening.Trade Review‘Housing Markets and the Global Financial Crisis: The Uneven Impact on Households brings together a diverse set of researchers from a solid mix of countries, culminating in an accessible, methodologically sound and engaging edited collection. Given this, and as a first-attempt at examining the GFC comparatively in terms of its impacts on households, this book is a much welcomed addition to the urban studies discourse broadly, and empirical work on the GFC specifically.’ -- Dylan Simone, Urban Studies‘Housing Markets and the Global Financial Crisis is worth reading for policymakers (in central banks, governments or municipalities) who are in charge of the introduction of regulatory or fiscal measures in the housing sector. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd Research Handbook on the Economics of Property
Book SynopsisLeading scholars in the field of law and economics contribute their original theoretical and empirical research to this major Handbook. Each chapter analyzes the basic architecture and important features of the institutions of property law from an economic point of view, while also providing an introduction to the issues and literature.Property rights and property systems vary along a large number of dimensions, and economics has proven very conducive to analyzing these patterns and even the nature of property itself. The contributions found here lend fresh perspectives to the current body of literature, examining topics including: initial acquisition; the commons, anticommons, and semicommons; intellectual property; public rights; abandonment and destruction; standardization of property; property and firms; marital property; bankruptcy as property; titling systems; land surveying; covenants; nuisance; the political economy of property; and takings. The contributors employ a variety of methods and perspectives, demonstrating the fruitfulness of economic modeling, empirical methods, and institutional analysis for the study of both new and familiar problems in property. Legal scholars, economists, and other social scientists interested in property will find this Handbook an often-referenced addition to their libraries.Table of ContentsContents: Introduction Henry E. Edward Elgar Publishing Ltd The Economics of Housing
Book SynopsisHousing is an important commodity in the national accounts of all countries and has generated a high quality specialised literature. The papers in this scholarly collection span a thirty-five year period from 1960 when the field of housing economics was just beginning to attract attention. Topics covered include housing and urban spatial structures, housing supply, the analysis of housing demand and empirical and theoretical studies of housing quality and prices. One of the features which complicates economic analysis of housing is the severe regulation of the housing and land markets; the implications of such controls, including rent control, local taxes and housing subsidies are investigated, as are the effects of property taxes and the provision of public services on housing choice. The articles in the final section cover recent research on the linkage between housing markets and financial markets, a subject which is currently of intense interest to economists in this field.Trade Review'These two volumes contain an outstanding collection of the most notable academic papers on housing and related urban issues. . . . a treasure trove. . . . it is a collection that I am destined to spend many hours pondering. South Dakota State Historical Society After Populism: The Agrarian Left on the Northern
Book SynopsisPopulism, a farmer-led movement that called for sweeping economic reforms, became a major political force in the 1890s. Though short lived, Populism's heyday has received ample attention from historians of the Northern Great Plains. But how did agrarian radicals and left-of-center farmers' groups in the region respond to the massive political changes of the twentieth century? This collection of essays by historian William C. Pratt sheds light on this period by tracking the evolution of rural activism and its impact across space and time. This broad, analytical history of agrarian movements on the northern plains pays close attention to local particularities and variations from national and even international trends. After Populism explores farmers' relationships to Socialist groups; the persistence of radicalism in isolated plains communities; agrarian radicals' involvement in local affairs; women's roles in radical farm groups; the importance of the Farmers Union in regional and national politics; repeated, unsuccessful attempts at third-party organizing; and the gradual decline of progressive farm protest in the late twentieth century.Pratt's work builds on research in collections from throughout the Great Plains, as well as documents from the Russian State Archive of Social and Political History in Moscow and Federal Bureau of Investigation records. In addition, he pulls from decades of personal interviews and site visits, allowing him to add colorful anecdotes that help bring his subjects to life on the page. After Populism is a must read for historians of the Northern Great Plains and anyone interested in farm politics. This vital collection of work from a prolific historian of the region brims with unique insight into an important yet understudied topic.

Springer Nature Switzerland AG Housing Market Response to Sea-Level Rise in
Book SynopsisSouth Florida continues to attract new residents despite its susceptibility to sea-level rise. This book explores the views of real estate agent with respect to how prospective homebuyers assess the risk of flooding. It reports on their observations as to whether house prices are stagnant or falling in coastal areas vulnerable to flooding, and their conclusions after working with prospective homebuyers as to whether coastal south Florida is a good place to find a home or, alternatively, a risky investment in a place that will eventually be submerged by rising seas. The book reports on a 2020 survey of real estate agents and concludes that it is not clear that the housing market has integrated flood risk either into reduced demand for housing or in reduced prices for houses susceptible to flooding. These conclusions have important implications for understanding how the risks of climate change and sea-level rise are reflected in the housing market both now and in the near-term future. Springer International Publishing AG Real Estate Investment: Theory and Practice
Book SynopsisThis textbook, aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate real estate programmes, provides an overview of real estate investment and pricing in a global context with special attention to the diversification of asset types in three parts. Designed as a successor to Will Fraser’s successful student-led investment book, Principles of Property Investment and Pricing, it encompasses the microeconomics of real estate markets and context alongside pricing failures of real estate highlighted by the impact of the global financial crisis, especially with regard to irrationality and risk.Part 1 focuses on the microeconomics of the real estate sector, covering the complex nature of real estate and the consequences for economic analysis and the operation of the market, the underlying essential processes and principles of real estate investment decision making, including a pricing model, and the significance of real estate cycles and why they occur. Part 2 begins with the characteristics of real estate as an investment, differentiated between direct and indirect investment, and making comparisons with alternative stock market assets, then examines real estate investors and their objectives, including financial institutions, REITs and other indirect vehicles. Additionally, it sets out the frameworks within which real estate investment decisions are made in relation to other investments and focuses on decision-making processes and the practicalities of performance measurement. Emerging real estate debates are discussed in Part 3. These chapters are primarily forward-looking to the implications and challenges for real estate investment, including the consequences of recent aspects of regulation, changes to occupier demand, partly driven by technology but also sustainability pressures, the logic and difficulties of international investment, with a particular focus on emerging markets.Table of ContentsPART 1:- The Real Estate Sector.- Chapter 1:-Introduction.- Chapter 2:-Principles of Investment.- Chapter 3:-Macroeconomy and Real Estate Cycles.- PART 2:-Real Estate Investment.- Chapter 4:-Characteristics of Real Estate Investment.- Chapter 5:-Investors.- 6:-Market Efficiency and Asset Pricing.- 7:-Portfolio Theory.- Chapter 8:-Portfolio Management.- Chapter 9:-International Investment.- PART 3:-Developing Real Estate Paradigms.- Chapter 10:-State Intervention and Implications for Investment.- Chapter 11;-Investment Consequences of Changing Occupier Needs and Obsolescence.- Chapter 12:-Real Estate Opportunities and Challenges.- PART 4:-Final thoughts.- Potential dissertation topics.

Springer International Publishing AG Affordable Housing as a Profitable Impact
Book SynopsisThe challenges of affordable housing are manifold. However this presents an opportunity to private investors, real estate companies, and developers. With the growing global trend for impact-based investments, many institutional investors have begun to consider the merits of this asset class. This book examines not only the profitability of these assets, but also whether these assets rely on government subsidy. It discusses why investors have become more interested in this product and which investment criteria influence the financial performance of these assets. The authors employed a mixed method approach to collect data at two tiers, first through surveys and afterwards through interviews of 8 firms (3 publicly listed companies, 3 private equity companies, 1 foundation, and 1 state bank) across Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Investment criteria are analyzed using inferential statistics, specifically the Hierarchical Algorithm Cluster Analysis. The financial characteristics of the companies are examined and compared using descriptive statistics and the qualitative interview output is explored using the thematic Latent Coding Analysis. Furthermore, the book explains how the bond-like nature of affordable housing is a profitable impact investment option, and how this strategy is particularly worthwhile for institutional investors. It also describes that profitability of affordable housing products is not dependent on subsidy. Still, affordable housing products supported by government incentives in the United Kingdom and United States are most attractive. The book illustrates six important investment strategies identified by veterans in this field to have an influence on the financial feasibility of affordable housing products.Table of ContentsChapter 1. Table of ContentsEinleitung.- Theoretische Grundlagen.- Transformationale Führung.- Untersuchung transformationaler Führungskultur in der Immobilienwirtschaft.- Zusammenfassung und Ausblick.

Springer-Verlag Berlin and Heidelberg GmbH & Co. KG Real Estate Asset Management: Studienergebnisse
Table of ContentsInstitutionelle Investoren in der Schweiz.- Herausforderungen an Investoren und Anlageprodukte.- Studienergebnisse zum Real Estate Asset Management in der Schweiz.- Institutionelle Investoren in Deutschland und Österreich.- Studienergebnisse zu Immobilieninvestitionen institutioneller Investoren in Deutschland und Österreich.

Table of ContentsPPP-Immobilien als Investitionsobjekte.- Kapitalanlagevorschriften für Versicherungsunternehmen.- Anlagebedingungen für Spezial-AIF.- Experimentelle Modellierung Spezial-AIFs auf Basis PPP-Immobilien von Hannover Leasing.

Table of ContentsGrundlagen.- Wechselbeziehungen zwischen Makroökonomie und Immobilienmarkt.- Staatliche Regulierung und Marktlösung.- Kapitalmarkt.- Ökonometrie.

Springer-Verlag Berlin and Heidelberg GmbH & Co. KG Marktgerechte Erbbaurechte: Wie Kommunen über
Table of ContentsEinleitung.- Kommunale Erbbaurechte – ein Auslaufmodell?.- Kein „Eigentum zweiter Klasse“ - liberale Erbbaurechtsverträge.- Stakeholder Value: Ein Mehrwert ist möglich.- Erbbaurechtskonzepte als „Social Engineering“.- Das Prämienmodell als Instrument zur Subventionierung von Wohnraum.- Erbbaurechtskonzepte und Kreditfinanzierung.- Exkurs: Zur Bewertung von Erbbaurechten.- Bezahlbares Wohnen: Vergabeverfahren und geeignete Partner.- „Upscaling“ über Fonds.- Vision nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung – Bodenreform von unten?.- Zum Schluss: Ein Neustart ist nötig!.- Mathematisch-statistischer Anhang.
