Chapter One provides practical cognitive-behavioural treatment recommendations to address typical issues associated with depression and anxiety in paediatric patients with asthma, functional gastrointestinal disorders, and headache pain. Chapter Two argues that community level screening, timely diagnosis and integrated traditional medicine and traditional healing practices rooted in a given cultural and religious context are essential for the treatment of schizophrenia. Chapter Three explores psychological theories, diagnostic instruments, assessment tools, and management strategies for factitious disorder and borderline personality disorder. Chapter Four presents a study of the impact of academic stressors on the health of students in the health field.
