Book SynopsisThis collection of duets for pre-grade 1 to grade 1 gives players a chance to practise their sight-reading skills with another player (the second parts are easily playable by other pupils or teachers).
Trade Review ...pupils get the chance to practice their sight-reading with others, experiencing a fun break from solo sight-reading practice in the lead up to graded exams whilst developing key techniques and skill. This allows students to benefit from the support of another player to develop rhythm and style. Paul uses clever questions alongside the duets to encourage students to think about what they are about to play and improve their music theory.
The easily accessible second parts allow teachers or parents to accompany the pupil and are also ideal for siblings and fellow pupils to play together with the encouragement of another player to help them continue playing despite mistakes.
