But tradition didn't mean well with him. His work is only sparsely preserved. Almost half a century after the last monograph on Krates, Serena Perrone offers a new comprehensive analysis of his work. The Italian translation and annotation of the 60 fragments received made a significant contribution to expanding the image of the crate in research with numerous new findings.
