Nieves Punctuations
Punctuations combines a series of paintings synthesising big wave surfing, turning the human element into a visual punctuation on the immense aquatic backdrop. Created for Studiolo, the artist's first European institutional solo show, at the Millennium Iconoclast Museum of Art (MIMA) Brussels in 2023. Jean Jullien (1983) is a French artist living and working in Paris. Originally from Nantes, he graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2008 and the Royal College of Art in 2010.
