This collection of Bunny's work from the 1950s features 169 original photographs and featuring little known models and women she helped launch to fame, such as Betty Page. This collection of photographs, along with Bunny's reflections on her life and career, the models, and the era, make an insightful addition to the literature on this photographic pioneer.

University of Nebraska Press Women of the Dawn
Women of the Dawn tells the stories of four remarkable Wabanaki Indian women who lived in northeast America during the four centuries that devastated their traditional world. Their courageous responses to tragedies brought on by European contact make up the heart of the book. The narrative begins with Molly Mathilde (1665-1717), a mother, a peacemaker, and the daughter of a famous chief. Born in the mid-1600s, when Wabanakis first experienced the full effects of colonial warfare, disease, and displacement, she provided a vital link for her people through her marriage to the French baron of St. Castin. The sage continues with the shrewd and legendary healer Molly Ockett (1740-1816) and the reputed witchwoman Molly Molasses (1775-1867). The final chapter belongs to Molly Dellis Nelson (1903-1977) (known as Spotted Elk), a celebrated performer on European stages who lived to see the dawn of Wabanaki cultural renewal in the modern era.

Stewart, Tabori & Chang Inc Power of Gardens
Nancy Power is to landscape what Frank Gehry is to architecture, or Bunny Williams to interiors—a master, a visionary, a seasoned professional at the very pinnacle of her craft. The designs Power creates—whether for parklands, playgrounds, or private sanctuaries—reflect the meticulous attention she pays to each place’s particularity and to the desires and living patterns of those who will use and enjoy her gardens. From residential gardens in Beverly Hills and Malibu to street planning for downtown Los Angeles and play zones for the Pasadena Children’s Museum, the selection of Power’s work in this beautiful book reveals her multidimensional aesthetic. Her approach can range from the lavishly leafy to the meditatively restrained, from the comfortably homey to the superlatively (though always quirkily) formal. But no matter what the look, no matter who the client, each of her projects reminds us of the power that gardens have to refresh the body, center the mind, and liberate the spirit.
