Jewish Lebenswelt in Germany entails involvement of survivors and their sons and daughters, born after the Shoah, with the non-Jewish German world of Nazi perpetrators, supporters, bystanders and their children. Love relationships probably represent the most intimate contact between former victims and perpetrators, or their supporters. This exploration of second-generation relationships in post-National-Socialist Germany is aimed at gaining deeper insights into what Theodor W. Adorno called the "culture after Auschwitz". The true extent and significance of the chasm that did indeed emerge during the course of this endeavour only became apparent in retrospect. Therefore, an article about the "history" of working on "Love after Auschwitz" has been included.

So far, the professional trajectories of these scholars and their contributions to knowledge exchange have not been studied comprehensively. In social media discourse, dataveillance and data mining have been criticized as new forms of digital work and capitalist exploitation for some time. From social photos, selfies and image communities on the internet to connected viewing and streaming, and video conferencing during the Corona pandemic - the digital image is not only predominantly networked but also accessed through platforms and structured by their economic imperatives, data acquisition techniques and algorithmic processing. Although social scientists and practitioners have shown an increased interest in the inclusion of trans persons in recent years, the current position of this group in the (medical/psychological/nursing) care system remains under-researched. Studies tend to merge the issues of gender diversity and sexual diversity, rendering the lived experiences of trans persons invisible. In addition, trans people often face a discriminatory environment in which they are pathologised and stigmatised as mentally ill. This anthology addresses trans people's access to healthcare from a transnational perspective, and offers courses of action to improve nursing, medical, therapeutic, and social care for trans persons.
