Kahlil Gibran (18831931) was a Lebanese American writer, poet and artist. He is most famous for his great work, The Prophet one of the bestselling books of all time.<#13>The Prophet is a collection of 26 prose poetry fables which are divided into chapters dealing with topics such as family and marriage, crime and punishment, and reason and passion.
