Book Synopsis
"The earth is full of your creatures." The biblical creation narratives can astonish us and stimulate thoughts: Who am I? Where am I from? Or also: where does everything come from? Where do I go? Or also: How is the world developing? Accordingly, the book is divided into the following chapters. "Where am I from?" (Chapter 1) is the starting question. In Chapter 2 "How did it all come about?" the focus is on evolution. The biblical creation stories are discussed in Chapter 3, "What Does the Bible Say?" treated. "Open questions" are raised in Chapter 4 (dealing with animals and nature, vegetarian food, climate protection, designing Sundays), which draw attention to the phenomena of our contemporary world and challenge the pupils to make their own statements. With the two children Flo and Vicky, in whose encounters the different questions are narrated, the pupils are offered opportunities for identification. The volume contains numerous media tips for digital religious education and offers corresponding specific tasks for the materials.
