The Mass in D major was written in 1887 in a version for soloists, choir and Organ. In his mass, Dvorßk combined traditional folk style with a late romanticism. The easy vocal solos, which can also be taken on by choristers, make the work accessible to choir's of most abilities.
This edition is the first organ and orchestral version of the mass to appear simultaneously in one edition. The variants of both versions are marked and an organ part is also included.
