Book SynopsisThis three-volume series is a manual, in English and German, for intermediate level violin teaching and is designed to be used as: a useful supplement for Suzuki students and teachers (Suzuki Book 4) a helpful aid for students and teachers using non-Suzuki methods, and a refresher course for players with previous experience. The main emphasis in Volume 1 of the series is to help the student master individual movements from violin concertos by J.S. Bach, Vivaldi and Seitz.
Additionally, Kerstin Wartberg has included numerous practice suggestions and instructions derived from her many years of teaching experience. Volume 1 includes two CDs which contain: performance versions of the concerto movementsplay-along backing tracks recorded at various speeds, to aid practice important preparatory exercises.
