The Raffles-Maurick International Water Conference is the first and only water conference targeted specifically at high school students aged 14 to 18 years old. Jointly organized by Raffles Institution and Maurick College, two highly regarded high schools in Singapore and the Netherlands respectively, the conference aims to create a deeper awareness and instil a sense of urgency in young leaders about global water issues and address what the future of water should be. The conference is a gathering of young, passionate minds to overcome water challenges in their countries through best practices and collaborative efforts among different countries.This conference proceedings is a collection of the various best water practices and research projects completed by high school students from around the world, and offers insights into the future of water in both developing and developed countries. What makes this proceedings so unique is that young leaders from around the world come together to tackle water issues through the exploration of science & technology, water policies, international relations, community and water stewardship activities.
