Book Synopsis
This book is intended to facilitate the care planning process for nursing students and nurses working with maternal and newborn clients. Each nursing care plan includes nursing diagnosis and its definition, etiological factors, assessment data, characteristics of problems, expected outcomes, nursing interventions and evidence-based rationales, and evaluation.

It compiles all possible nursing diagnoses and care plans for:
  • Mothers in different stages of normal pregnancy, spontaneous labour, delivery and post delivery periods.
  • Pregnant women with associated medical problems and gestational complications.
  • Women who go through spontaneous and assisted pregnancy complications.
  • Newborns following normal birth process and in uncomplicated neonatal life.
