Book Synopsis

Trade Review

"Gelven, a gifted writer and widely read philosopher, draws from a great breadth of scholarship and knowledge in the writing of this book. Why Me? is a profound philosophical reflection on the notion of fate, and to read this book is to join in with a thoughtful and strong-minded philosopher thinking through some extraordinarily important human topics."—Thomas V. Morris, University of Notre Dame
"Gelven brings care and attention to a very important but neglected topic. Why Me? is innovative, competent, and tantalizing."—Robert S. Solomon, University of Texas
