It follows some of the author's experiences fishing the tributaries rivers of the Towy, in Carmarthenshire, for the ever-elusive salmon; the collection of a swarm of bees to bring home in a car; a picnic with the prince of the palace; a hazelnut robbery; and a summer's day trip on a canal boat from the author's professional experience as a carer.
