A cathartic and evocative book, When Nature Nurtures features ten short stories, sometimes humorous, sometimes sad, but always written with honesty. It follows some of the author's experiences fishing the tributaries rivers of the Towy, in Carmarthenshire, for the ever-elusive salmon; the collection of a swarm of bees to bring home in a car; a picnic with the prince of the palace; a hazelnut robbery; and a summer's day trip on a canal boat from the author's professional experience as a carer.
