Book SynopsisJao Tsung-i was China’s last great traditional man of letters, polymath, and pioneer of comparative humanistic inquiry during Hong Kong’s global heyday. Dunhuang is China’s traditional northwest frontier and overland conduit of exchange with the Old World.
