During her time there, her talent was recognized by fashion designer Sir Paul Smith, who selected her as the recipient of the Nicole Abbott Award. Darcie's work is joyous and vibrant. Inspired by her love of nature, travel and pop culture, she brings her pieces to life through bold experimentation with a mixture of media, including acrylic, watercolour, gouache and digital techniques.
