Book SynopsisGeorgios Giannakopoulos is a Senior Lecturer in Modern History at City St. George's University of London, UK, and visiting research fellow at the Centre for Hellenic Studies, King's College London, UK. The author of British Internationalism and Imperial Order in Southeastern Europe, he has published widely on British and European intellectual and international history in journals such as Global Intellectual History, Modern Intellectual History and Contemporary European History.
Joseph A. Maiolo is Professor of International History in the Department of War Studies, King's College London, UK. He is the co-author of Arms Races in International Politics: From the Nineteenth to the Twenty-First Century (2016), The International History of the Twentieth Century and Beyond (2014) and co-editor of volume two of The Cambridge History of the Second World War (2017).
Gonda Van Steen holds the Koraes Chair of Modern Greek and Byzantine History, Language and Literature in the Department of Classics at King's College London, UK. She is the author of five books including Liberating Hellenism from the Ottoman Empire (2010), Stage of Emergency: Theater and Public Performance under the Greek Military Dictatorship of 1967-1974 (2015), and Adoption, Memory and Cold War Greece (2019).
