The Earth suit houses deities worshipped as primal Earth Mothers, fertile land, and the harvest, including Demeter and Gaia. The Sky suit includes Sky Fathers and deities connected to the element of air, such as Iris and Zeus. The Moon, Sun, and Celestial suits contain those divine figures with ancient links to the planets and stars, such as Arianrhod and Selene.
In addition to the individual card meanings, you can receive guidance from the suits, as each embodies a different nature-based elemental relating to an area of life. Looking at which suits show up in your readings can help you gain addiional or deeper insights into your current situation and life path. For example, having multiple Earth cards show up in your spread could be hinting at a need to ground your energy or make life choices that feel safe and supportive. Even if you select just one card for a daily reading, noting the suit of that card can give an instant hit of extra meaning: for example, a Water suit card suggests that paying particular attention to your emotions and how you're feeling about a situation will garner positive outcomes.
