This series is the definitive collection of the Dead Sea Scrolls and will conclude with a volume on the Biblical Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, and a concordance to the collection. Forty-four scholars from Canada, Germany, Israel, the United States, and other countries serve as subeditors in the series.The second volume contains improved Hebrew texts and literal translations of CD with selected fragments of the Damascus Document from Cave 4, 5 and 6; also included are 1 QM, with the fragments of the War Scroll from Caves 1 and 4. The series is prepared with the text on the left page and the translation on the right. Critical notes help the scholar understand the text, variants, philological subtleties, and translation. Other documents relating to rules are also contained in the second volume.
