I feel if children and their parents know about differences like vitiligo and aren't afraid to ask and listen like Awais' friends in the book the world would be a kinder place; - I have freckles too, and if someone had told, me at a young age, that each freckle was like a magic star - it wouldn't have taken me this long to love all of my freckles.; - The most brilliant story about a boy with skin differences...a must for all children. After all, it's just as important that we teach the young to accept others in their skin as it is to teach them to feel happy in theirs. - My son asked us to read it 3x yesterday he is 5 and I don't think he fully understands why it resonates with him yet- but it does .
