Book Synopsis
The abundant graphic material contained in this book, co-published with the Archivo Lafuente, shows the transformation of the artist Bárbara Allende into Ouka Leele, a nickname adopted at the end of the eighties by this essential photographer in the history of 20th century Spanish photography. In dialogue with a careful selection of his preparatory drawings, comics, notebooks and sketches, his black and white and colored photographs evolve from the first shots in the family environment to the sophisticated staging, which concludes with his famous Hairdressing series. A book that explores the galaxy by Bárbara Allende where Ouka Leele was born.
