Description
Book SynopsisIntroduces players to original works by some of the great composers. This title contains timeless masterworks and modern pieces to encourage and inspire. It also includes helpful background notes on the composers.
Trade ReviewFrom a teacher’s perspective, all of these duets are excellent for developing a student’s sensitivity and aural awareness through the interactivity of the two parts. There are short pieces of just one page as well as more substantial, three-page pieces that will help determine their suitability for each individual pianist. From a student’s point of view, the music is fun to play, reasonably straight-forward to pick up and learn, and offers an opportunity to experience the wonders of chamber music.
