Book Synopsis
Through the development of physical science there has never been a theory which has changed so drastically the shape of science as quantum mechanics; nor has there been a scientific theory which has had such a profound impact on human thinking. Since its inception, quantum mechanics has played a significant role in philosophical thought both as a source of metaphysical ideas and as an important example of a "scientific revolution." This book gathers the most current research in the field of quantum mechanics including quantum mechanics and realism; the quantum mechanical mechanism behind end results of the GTR; and geometric phases and topological effects in quantum mechanics; some quantum effects in magnetic fields.
