Trade Review
This is a poignant book in which Grace Okoye meticulously outlines the historical precedence for the ongoing conflicts in Northern Nigeria, leading to ethno-religious violence in our current era. Additionally, it offers an extensive treatise on the nature of genocide and the theoretical framework for its examination. Thus, this book amply sets the stage for an exploration of what constitutes genocidal intent and proclivity in the case of Northern Nigeria with an eye towards providing viable conflict management strategies for peacebuilding and conflict resolution practitioners. -- Claire Michѐle Rice, Nova Southeastern University
