But, if the Torah were inaccessible, or inscrutable, or beyond the grasp of the ordinary person, we would lose our way. This book is a personal journey through Torah by a curious Jew without rabbinic training. While a scholar may learn something new from this book, the hope is that any Jew may be inspired to likewise seek his or her own voice in interpreting Torah.
