Book Synopsis

Moving to a new home can sometimes feel scary and a little bit lonely, but this little raccoon soon discovers that wherever you go adventures soon follow.

This warm, thoughtful and reassuring story is perfect for children about to move house or start new school, but has a universal message for any child about the importance of kindness and acceptance when meeting someone new.

My New Home by bestselling author-illustrator, two times CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal nominee and BookTrust Time to Read favourite, Marta Altés, is a beautiful and uplifting story about moving house, making friends and finding a new home.

Trade Review
Marta's pages are just a joy to scoot through, her characters beautifully childlike and endearing, and her colour palette to drool over (and perhaps even eat with a spoon). -- Tania McCartney * Kids' Book Review *
