Book SynopsisA través de los siete capítulos que conforman este volumen se analiza la
actividad musical desarrollada por las mujeres en una sociedad fuertemente
marcada por el patriarcado. Textos que, desde diferentes planteamientos
teóricos y desde distintos feminismos, nos hablan de corporalidad, raza, clase
e identidad, junto a otros en los que se visibilizan las aportaciones realizadas
por mujeres en el ámbito musical. Todos ellos son una importante
contribución hacia la aún necesaria normalización de la musicología
feminista.
The seven chapters that make up this volume analyse the musical activity
developed by women in a society strongly marked by patriarchy. Texts that,
from different theoretical approaches and from different feminisms, talk
about corporeality, race, class, and identity, together with others in which the
contributions made by women in the musical ?eld are made visible. All of
them are an important contribution to the still necessary normalisation of
feminist musicology.
