Trade Review

Old quilt designs have been brought right up-to-date to create modern treasures. Bill is a quilt collector and he has created 12 new patterns inspired by quilts from the 1840s to the 1970s. I just love that front cover design, but none of them will disappoint. You'll see the original quilts and Bill's contemporary design. The quilts also have a smaller pattern as an alternative. Clear photos and instructions throughout. Great designs, great colours and I love the fact that these quilts have a history that has been updated to become modern heirlooms of their own. Modern techniques are used throughout. This book includes templates, tips and an introduction giving you the history of each quilt. This is a wonderful book that I am glad to recommend. It's a treasure trove of treasures.
