Irene has taught hairdressing in hairdressing colleges, she is a Master Hairstylist and hairdressing icon. She comes across many interesting characters in her hairdressing life and enjoys listening to their stories. In her hairdressing career, she has not only worked in salons but also on films and TV. Some of her favourite memories come from working on 'The Tudors', 'Vikings' and 'Penny Dreadful'. Irene has greatly enjoyed writing her first novel, 'Love in the Cloisters'. She is also passionate about the other books she is writing. Her characters have real, true, gritty life-stories, but as we all know, in life, there's always romance too.
