Description

Book Synopsis
The story of the air-cooled 'big' Kawasaki bikes in definitive detail, researched and written in Japan with the full co-operation of the factory. This series of models put the company on the map during the sixties and seventies, helping it to survive a difficult era that saw hundreds of Japanese motorcycle makers reduced to just four. Successful immediately, these models defended Kawasaki's honour on the tracks as well as in the showrooms, handing the company numerous world championship titles. The series was recently revived as part of a retro boom, and a new machine has been launched, delivering the same thrill and charm as its predecessors.

Trade Review
Definitely so much more than a coffee table book it's engaging, involving and hugely enjoyable. If you like Kawasakis you could buy it just for the pictures it's that good. Tansha --- With 160 large pages and plenty of photos plus excerpts from advertising material and magazine articles, side-bars on racing bikes etc, this is another winner from Brian Long. Bike Rider Magazine --- if you are a fan of Kawasaki then this has got to be on your shopping list as it is probably the most definitive book on the firm to date, thanks to the research and factory co-operation. Apart from that it is an excellent read, if for no other reason that taking a trip down memory lane. Highly recommended and excellent value. Ian Kerr. Technically accurate and complete while keeping the book interesting and enjoyable for readers be they Kawasaki enthusiasts or general interest readers. – UltimateMotorcycling.com.
