Trade Review

I enjoyed Pam Wedgwood's previous set of arrangements, and am equally impressed with this new collection. The pieces are gently progressive and aimed at players of around Grade 1-2 level. There is a good variety in terms of style, ranging from dreamy waltzes like In Dulci Jubilo and Quem Pastores, through brighter, more up-tempo numbers like Let It Snow and the only duet: Winter Wonderland - and even a couple of old favourites like White Christmas and Walking in the Air. The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy has a Caribbean flavour, and even the more traditional carols get a look in, with a most attractive setting of In the Bleak Midwinter and Adeste Fideles. Something for everyone here and very good value.
