Trade ReviewThis dictionary's useful features are also those of the series, namely, an inventory of acronyms, chronology, and bibliography...Recommended. * CHOICE, October 2009 *
Excellent array of entries on political practices and reforms….The entries provide at least entry-level enlightenment, and usually a lot more, while the bibliographies can take one onward from there, as desired….The PE volume is excellent. What they attempt to do, they do successfully. * Reviews in American History, September 2010 *
Entries are short, generally ranging from a paragraph to a page, and filled with cross-references. There are two helpful appendixes listing the presidents and their administrations as well as constitutional amendments from the time period. Overall, this is a succinct and useful resource that would be useful for reference collections in academic and large public libraries. * Booklist, July 2009 *
