This text is different from other Environmental Science texts by offering a more detailed treatment of ecology and evolutionary biology that is key to understanding the impacts of global change on natural populations. I also like the greater emphasis in examining contemporary studies on measuring impacts on global change. The organization of the textbook seems quite intuitive.
