Book Synopsis
At the turn of the 16th century, Italians rediscovered and reinvented an old art form: the ancient Latin comedy. In this anthology, Giannetti and Ruggiero have translated five of the most representative plays of the period, presenting the modern reader with a view of Italian Renaissance society.
