Book Synopsis

A snuggly, seasonal celebration of a child's first snowfall and winner of the 2020 Stratford-Salariya Picture Book Prize!

Two curious fox cubs scamper out from their den on an adventure to discover what 'snow' is. Along the way, they encounter a cast of charming winter woodland creatures preparing for the cold, including wise old owls, hopping frogs, hibernating hedgehogs and busy bees. The two little foxes can't wait to jump, play and snuggle up when the snow comes, but can they make it home to Mother Fox in time?

This enchanting winter tale captures the wonder of a child's first snowfall in all its beauty, from the coldness of two little noses twitching in the frost to the excitement of playing with friends. A beautiful Christmas story filled with hope, kindness and warmth for families to share!
