Book SynopsisJonathan Evans is Reader in Translation Studies at the University of Glasgow, UK. He is the author of The Many Voices of Lydia Davis (2016) and co-editor of The Routledge Handbook of Translation and Politics (2018). He is also Deputy Editor of The Journal of Specialised Translation. His research on fandom and translation in Vietnam, China and South Korea has received funding from the Newton Fund, AHRC, ESRC and the Fund for International Collaboration.
Ting Guo is Senior Lecturer in Chinese and Translation Studies at the University of Liverpool, UK. She is the author of Surviving in Violent Conflicts (2016), and the associate editor of Target: International Journal of Translation Studies. She has published widely on the topic of fan translation (especially fansubbing) in the Chinese context.
