"Jackson's book seeks to find a new path in defining Enochic Judaism, one of the latest discoveries in the field of Middle Jewish research. Jackson's inquiry develops consistently with the premises he poses at the beginning, and the conclusions are consistent with them...I found his work challenging and often inspiring, an approach that questions what students of Enochic Judaism have produced so far and tries to give new answers that surely will inspire new paths in the research on 1 Enoch and related literature.
