Candela no sabe qué animal es, acaba de nacer y no hay nadie como ella cerca. Se encuentra con Grillo y Polilla, quienes le explican que es un insecto, pero no recuerdan cuál. Ella cree que puede ser una estrella porque tiene luz, como las que ven en el cielo.
Esa misma noche, una niña sale de casa con su farol persiguiendo las pequeñas luces que iluminan el bosque. En la oscuridad se encontrarán y se harán amigas. ¿Ayudará la niña a Candela a entender quién es?

Candela doesn''t know what animal she is, she was just born and there is no one like her around. She meets Cricket and Moth, who explain that she is an insect, but they don''t remember which one. She thinks she might be a star because she has light, like the ones they see in the sky.
That very same night, a little girl leaves her house to chase the small lights that illuminate the forest. They will meet and become friends. Will the girl be able to help Candela understand who she is?
