This book captures a mild disappointment from low incomes and income equality, their effects on job satisfaction, happiness, and understanding of democracy in this critical era. Rigorous quantitative analyses of attitudes are based on the up-to-date European Social Survey data. Each chapter is a stand-alone piece. Nevertheless, their findings confirm and complement each other.
