Book Synopsis

''Everyone''s home, there''s no school today.
There''s so much to do. Come on, let''s play!
The grown-ups hide, and the kids all seek.
First we count to a hundred - and promise not to peek!''

You don''t have to go out to have an adventure, a day at home can be just as busy and exciting as any trip away. From pillow forts and painting to a living-room concert and a bedtime story, this busy family shows how it''s easy to fill the day with fun!

Cheryl Orsini''s gorgeous watercolour and gouache illustrations capture all the liveliness and warmth of family life.

PRAISE for Cheryl Orsini''s previous books:

''Cheryl Orsini''s absolutely divine illustrations are some of my favourite in a picture book this year. From the endpapers, through the book proper and the covers, too, her utterly whimsical illustrations are so eye-engaging, it''s a delight to turn each page and witness a new surprise.'' blog.boomerangbooks.com.au on POM POM
