Description

The Bavarian lakes south of Munich are a wonderful cycling area with numerous sights such as the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, Starnberg, the city in the lake or Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The cycle paths lead comfortably around the three large lakes, Starnberger See, Ammersee and Forggensee, sometimes connecting them with each other and are therefore perfect for families and leisure cyclists. Of course, the short routes through the Bavarian-Austrian Alps require physical fitness, and some are specially designed for mountain bikers.
