Description
Book SynopsisDevelops the stable trace formula for unitary groups in three variables. This work applies the stable trace formula to obtain a classification of automorphic representations. It presents the case in which the stable trace formula has been worked out beyond the case of SL (2) and related groups.
Trade Review"Reading a book like this may cause the reader to wonder when mathematics turns into art. The author has worked to create a body of knowledge which is impressive in depth and breadth and suggestive in exemplifying phenomena which transcend his special case."--Mathematical Reviews
