In twenty five essays, the authors of this volume will analyse the concept of public archaeology and its different contexts of appliance, the relations forged when engaging with communities, and the use of new technologies for the management and divulgation of archaeological heritage. This is a book that does not pretend to be a handbook, but covers the current panorama of public archaeology in Spain. What we understand today as public archaeology has been ongoing for a long time.
