Fredrik Sixten sets the poem for high (female) voices, comparing hope with a songbird using musical motifs. The composition was commissioned by the Mädchenchor, Hannover.

Fredrik Sixten hat das Gedicht für hohe (Frauen) Stimmen vertont und vergleicht die Hoffnung mit einem Singvogel unter Verwendung musikalischer Motive. Die Komposition wurde vom Mädchenchor Hannover in Auftrag gegeben.
