It follows on directly from the first book, giving an equally broad selection of repertoire. The pieces are selected from the historical repertoire to present playing challenges and new techniques in a specific musical context and arranged in progressive order of difficulty, taking the player through to a Late Intermediate/Advanced standard (Grades 6-8).
