Most of Shakespeare's sonnets were probably written at this time as well.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRecords of Shakespeare's plays begin to appear in 1594, and he produced roughly two a year until around 1611. His earliest plays include\u003ci\u003e Henry VI\u003c\/i\u003e and\u003ci\u003e Titus Andronicus\u003c\/i\u003e. \u003ci\u003eA Midsummer Night's Dream, The Merchant of Venice \u003c\/i\u003eand \u003ci\u003eRichard II\u003c\/i\u003e all date from the mid to late 1590s. Some of his most famous tragedies were written in the early 1600s; these include \u003ci\u003eHamlet, Othello, King Lear, Macbeth\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eAntony \u0026amp; Cleopatra\u003c\/i\u003e.
