He has written or co-edited sixteen books, most recently \u003ci\u003eEmmy Noether: Mathematician Extraordinaire \u003c\/i\u003e(Springer 2021).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eTom Archibald\u003c\/b\u003e took his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto in History and Philosophy of Science and is currently Professor of Mathematics at Simon Fraser University. His research concerns the history of mathematical analysis and its applications, and the relationship between mathematics and society more broadly. Until recently, he was co-editor-in-chief of \u003ci\u003eHistoria Mathematica\u003c\/i\u003e and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Commission on the History of Mathematics.
